Satron Instruments designs and manufactures high-end process instrumentation and smart measurement solutions for demanding industrial environments. Satron’s products support customers in more than 70 countries across the food and beverage, chemical, pulp and paper and other process industries. The company is known for top-quality engineering, fast delivery times and long-term customer relationships.
Satron is strengthening its commercial team and is now looking for a Sales Manager focused on the North American market.
Role
The Sales Manager is responsible for developing Satron’s business in North America by supporting key distributors, working closely with end customers, and driving technically complex solution sales. The role is based in Finland but requires frequent travelling to customers and distributors across North America. In this role, you will report to the Sales Director based in Finland.
Key responsibilities
• Develop and grow sales in North America through Satron’s distributor network
• Act as the commercial and technical link between customers, distributors and Satron’s internal teams
• Conduct customer discussions, application analysis and technical sales support
• Train and support distributors to improve product knowledge and sales effectiveness
• Identify new business opportunities and key accounts in target industries
• Participate in pricing, offers and contract negotiations
• Contribute to long-term market strategy and growth plans
What we are looking for
• Experience in international B2B sales/Key Account Management
• Preferable experiece in process industries such as pulp and paper, food and beverage, chemicals or similar
• Technical understanding of measurement technology, automation instruments or process equipment is appreciated
• Ability to manage distributor relationships while proactively seeking sales opportunities both with end customers and through partners
• Willingness to work in an international environment and travel frequently to North America
• Fluent English required, other languages are considered an advantage

Compensation and benefits
The planned compensation is based on a monthly base salary plus a bonus model. Travel and representation expenses are covered. Daily allowances are paid for travel days.
